How it works

One client's experience of coaching sessions

Coaching a creative freelancer

"I had a coaching session with Suze to help direct me with my creative business. Suze was good at asking the right questions to draw out what it was I needed help with, to understand my background and my aims going forward."

Holding space

"Her approach to our session felt very natural, she allowed me to speak freely to get my thoughts out which was useful for me to think out loud. She seemed to know when to intervene to ask a question or steer the conversation so that it remained focused."

Articulating your goals

"At the end of our meeting she emailed me a summary of the session which she broke down into sections including my achievements, time management and my ideal scenario for the future. She also included questions to ask myself and goals for a month's time (our next session)."

A strengths based approach

"Suze made me feel positive and good about myself. By getting me to talk about achievements so far it charged me up to talk about the future with enthusiasm, which was a welcome change to the frustration I had previously felt when I was only paying attention to what I hadn’t achieved."

Knowing what to focus on

"The session helped me to re-evaluate my aims and know what to focus on. I followed the short term goals we set out, achieving these was good motivation. I also took time to think about the bigger questions that Suze asked."

Giving you the tools to do the work

"As a result I have been so much more productive and am able to enjoy the process of developing more because I know I’ve got someone to keep me in check and who knows where I want to be."
